Tesseract Gems is a miniature universe stitched together from antique whispers, rebellious pearls, and creatures with something to say. Every piece is handcrafted by me, using 25+ years of jewelry experience, wrapped in story, mystery, and a wink of mischief.
Think Victorian oddities meets cosmic whimsy, wearable artifacts for the beautifully unusual.
✨ What is your return/exchange policy?
Because each piece is handcrafted and often OOAK, all sales are final.
If something arrives damaged or there is an issue with the craftsmanship, please contact me immediately. I stand behind every creation and will make it right.

✨ What materials do you use?
I use:
Gold-filled metals
Brass, copper and/or stainless steel (often plated)
Sterling silver
Freshwater pearls (including my signature “misfit pearls”)
Hand dyed silk thread for pearl stringing
Antique or vintage clasps
Bright stones, crystals, and oddities that catch my eye
Every material is intentionally chosen. Nothing is accidental, and everything has a story.
✨ How should I care for my jewelry?
Treat each piece like it's tiny historical artifact.
Store in a dry, safe place
Avoid direct contact with water, perfumes, and chemicals
Gently polish metal with a soft cloth
Silk-strung pieces appreciate a little extra gentleness
Pearls are soft, emotional little things; handle them with kindness.
✨ Are your pieces handmade?
Yes. Every single piece is handcrafted by me at my work bench, from wirework to pearl stringing to sculpting ghostly little personalities. Each item is one-of-a-kind because of the pearls I use.
✨ Are your items safe for sensitive skin?
Most pieces use gold-filled or sterling silver components, which are widely tolerated. Brass items vary. If you have concerns, ask and I can guide you.
✨ Are items one-of-a-kind?
Most Tesseract Gems pieces are OOAK, especially my ghosts. Once they’re gone, they rarely return in the same exact form.
✨ When do new pieces drop?
New releases often happen during Instagram Lives.
There is a collectables live the 1st Thursday of every month featuring my newest misifits. They will be sold at exclusive "live only" prices. After the show, the unsold misfits will be sold at regular price on my website.
On the 3rd of every Thursday of the month, I have an exclusive studio drop live that features random jewelry I have made on a whim. What makes it exclusive? These are live only pieces that will never appear on my website.
I also announce drops on Instagram, via email and in my "New Arrivals" section on my website. Subscribe to my newsletter if you like to be the first in the curiosity shop door.
✨ Do you take custom orders?
Occasionally! It depends on my current workload and whether the request fits the Tesseract Gems universe.

…tend to be accepted more often.

✨ How long does shipping take?
Shipping is from Hawaii (HST).
Average timing:
U.S. Mainland: 3–7 business days
Hawaii inter-island: 2–3 days
International: varies widely (7–21 days)
You’ll get tracking information once your misfit treasure is on its way.
✨ Do you ship internationally?
No. Not yet, anyway. Stay tuned, lets wait 3 years to see how the taxes and tariffs settle down.

✨ Can I reserve a piece before a live?
To keep things fair during live sales, pre claims/reservations are not available unless otherwise stated. You are welcome to preview the newest misfits on my live page the day before the Thursday live.
✨ Do you restock items?
Ghosts and creatures sometimes return… but never exactly the same.
Each is a singular soul.
Traditional pearl strands may be restocked, but clasps, silk colors, and stone accents are often limited.
